mydvdsoft Refund Policy
mydvdsoft promises that we always put customers' interests in the first place. We will try our best to deal with customers' problems in a proper and correct way. If customers' problems are reasonable, we will offer unconditional refund as required. Since our software is the shareware which can be tried before purchase, we strongly recommend our customers to try them before purchase to confirm whether it is the one you need or not, which also protects you from purchasing wrong software. If the refund requirements are not caused by software problems themselves, we won't accept the refund usually. The refund specifications are as follows:
Part One:
If you are in one of the following situations, we will offer unconditional refund.
1. Refund requirements caused by purchase:
- Purchase wrong software by mistake and then purchase the correct one from our corporation at once. We will refund the wrong purchase as required.
2. Refund requirements caused by software problems:
- If there are serious bugs in our software, which affect customers' normal use, we will perform refund after confirming these problems by our technical team.
- If customers purchase wrong software due to the wrong links on the website, we will exchange wrong purchase with the one that can meet your need first. If customer insists on refund, we will perform refund.
Part Two:
If you are in one of the following situations, we can't refund you.
1. Refund requirements caused by purchase:
- Since we use third party payment platforms to perform the purchase, we can not confirm whether credit cards are used by card holders to purchase. Therefore, we recommend credit card holders to keep the cards well and reduce the chance of unauthorized use. If such situations do happen, we won't perform refund usually. If customers insist on refund, we will ask our third party payment platforms to deal with the issues and customers need to provide related proof.
- If customers purchase wrong software from our website, and then purchase so-called correct software from other corporations, we won't perform refund.
2. Refund requirements caused by registration information:
- Failed registration of software is caused by customers' wrong operation, and the registration information has been proved valid, we won't perform refund if customers require it.
3. Refund requirements caused by software problems:
- Customers want to convert protected files purchased from iTunes or other places, but our software can't meet this need. We won't perform refund if customers require it, as we have already provided clear note towards this issue on our website.
- Neither reading the literal introduction on our website nor trying the software before purchase, have customers just thought that the software can meet his need and purchased it, and then found that the software can't meet his need. Under this situation, we won't perform refund if customers require it.
- Customers purchase wrong software which can't be supported by his computer operation system, such as Mac users purchase Windows version software. If we have similar software for correct OS, we would like to exchange software for customers. If we don't have, we are sorry for that the refund can't be performed.
4. Refund requirements are made long after the purchase:
- We will perform refund to customers if the refund requirements are reasonable in 1 month after purchase through our third party payment platforms. Please confirm that the initial refund request is submitted within one month after purchase.
